Together with Prof. Dr. Ir. <a href=\"https:\/\/be.linkedin.com\/in\/heidi-ottevaere-2a8b762?trk=public_post-text\">Heidi Ottevaere<\/a> and optical designer <a href=\"https:\/\/be.linkedin.com\/in\/indy-magnus-b71b50183?trk=public_post-text\">Indy Magnus<\/a> from B-PHOT Brussels Photonics at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), the team reviewed the first prototypes for FluIDect\u2019s new spectrometer \u2014 an important milestone on the path toward scalable production. This work is part of FluIDect\u2019s collaboration within <a href=\"https:\/\/be.linkedin.com\/showcase\/photonhub-europe\/?trk=public_post-text\">PhotonHub<\/a> PHACTORY, the EU-backed photonics innovation initiative coordinated by B-PHOT at VUB. PHACTORY connects companies with Europe\u2019s leading photonics expertise to accelerate prototyping, validation and industrial uptake. For FluIDect, this visit marks another step in translating advanced optical sensing into robust, manufacturable solutions for real-time process monitoring. A big thank you to Heidi Ottevaere, Indy Magnus and the entire B-PHOT team for the strong collaboration, excellent optical design work and hands-on support.
