Our wide-field imaging spectrometer reads multiple µBeads in parallel within a single field of view. Beads with the same surface chemistry provide internal referencing; beads with different chemistries, optical codes, or sizes can be used to build multiplexed assays for several targets or controls in one sample. Parallel multi-bead readout is documented in our published application note on multiplexed FRS sensing.
Monitoring even in Complex Media.
Our fluorescent µBeads enable reliable optical monitoring in complex, turbid, or particle-rich media where conventional optical readouts can be limited. By providing a stable and trackable fluorescence signal, the beads support real-time observation of process dynamics such as biomass growth, mixing behavior, and changes in fermentation performance.
